Wilma Rudolph

Wilma Rudolph was an Olympic athlete. La perle noire beat polio as a child and spent her teen years immersed in athletics, reveling in the chance to finally be lie other children. She earned three gold medals (Rome 1960) and one bronze medal (Melbourne 1956).
